Construction of the Ostrołęka C power plant constitutes upholding and further developing Poland’s coal-based energy system. Ostrołęka C is expected to function for 40 years, destroying our health, depleting water resources and degrading air quality in Poland. Is it worth risking our health and life by putting on coal when we have a choice: we can produce clean energy from renewable sources? It is up to us to determine what future awaits Kurpie and Poland: the years in the shadow of a large power plant or sustainable development, energy safety and high quality of life for local communities.
