About us

While developed countries all over the world are phasing out coal and using renewable sources of energy such as sun or wind, Poland is still investing its money in coal power plants and mines. Building the coal-fired Ostrołęka C power plant means locking Poland in a dead end because coal energy is expensive, ineffective and harmful. It is time to start real discussion on energy strategy appropriate for the twenty first century. We are the coalition of  non – governmental organizations. Our purpose is to develop Kurpie in a sustainable way, with respect for the environmental protection and well-being of the local people.
