The application for annulment of the Ostrołęka C integrated permit- costly consequences of Jan Szyszko’s decision
12 July 2018, the Association Workshop for All Beings, with the support from Frank Bold lawyers and the Society for Earth, filed a motion for annulment of the infamous Minister Jan Szyszko’s decision, regarding the extension of the integrated permit for the Ostrołęka C coal power plant, referring to the flagrant breach of law.

Polish NGOs caution Prime Minister Morawiecki to stop plans for new coal power plant
On July 12th, 27 major Polish NGOs working on climate protection published an open letter to Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. In it, they are asking him to stop the Ostrołęka C coal-fired power plant project.

Dividend not for shareholders. Will it finance Ostrołęka C?
ENEA and ENERGA have suspended payments of the dividends for 2017. Representatives of the Association Workshop for All Beings participated in the Annual General Meetings (AGM) of these utilities to confirm whether these funds will be used to finance the Ostrołeka C coal power plant and to ask questions about its profitability. ENEA refused to answer, ENERGA declared to respond within 14 days.
